Hillgrove is the only school in St. Albert offering a Late French Immersion program. This program (entry in Grade 7) is designed for students who have little or no knowledge of French. Just like the regular French Immersion program, the primary goal of Late French Immersion is to graduate students who are fundamentally fluent in French and whose English skills are equivalent to those of their peers.
Bilingualism opens many doors for our graduates - they have more post-secondary options and the ability to use French in the workplace.
